We are the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations’ (EFPA) Board of Promotion and Prevention. As part of our role, we aim to collect evidence on EFPA member countries’ governmental responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, we are interested to learn about governments’ provision of guidelines for the public on behavioral issues related to the pandemic.
The main aim of this brief expert survey is to collate evidence on European governmental response to promote the public’s health and wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The information we collect will be used to (a) design a physical and mental health toolkit based on psychological theory and evidence and (b) write-up a position paper how psychology can improve government support of people’s health and well-being during pandemics. Please note that all responses will be confidential and entirely anonymous. We would like your input to inform national policymakers across Europe and beyond. Results will then be globally communicated by EFPA.
This study has been approved by the Cyprus National Bioethics Committee (ΕΕΒΚ ΕΠ 2020.01.95).
